The first Riyadh International Jazz Festival was held at the Mayadeen Theatre in Diriyah, and brought together global artists and rising regional talent for three nights of jazz, funk, soul and fusion.  Headliners included the legendary Chaka Khan, fusion acts including The Cat Empire, Masego and Hiatus Kaiyote and Garwasha.  VIPs were treated to performances in the Jazz Cafe, with the Peter Long Orchestra and singer Michelle John.  The festival
